How To Obtain A Transcript If You Graduated from Healing Touch Institute School for Massage Therapy (1993-2005) in Wakefield, MA

Healing Touch Institute closed its Proprietary School during 2005. As a non-profit there was/is no “owner” and there have not been, since May 2005, any employees of Healing Touch. Transcript requests are processed by volunteers

 

A transcript from Healing Touch Institute documents to a licensing board your completion of a specific course curriculum and hours of study--and that you demonstrated ethical behavior and professionalism during the course of your program. Transcripts documenting the receipt of a Certificate from Healing Touch Institute’s Massage Therapy program will be provided to those who completed all program requirements and completed all payments.

 

If you completed a program offered by “Myotone Institute” (1978-1993) directed by Al Hunt, Healing Touch Institute cannot provide any documentation for you. Healing Touch Institute had no relationship to Myotone. Healing Touch Institute was incorporated as a separate legal entity during 1992 by Kris Taylor, and has no program information, student records or other information for that program.

To request a transcript, please mail a  money order or certified bank check for  $20.00 per transcript, made out to Healing Touch Institute to:

When requesting a transcript, please include specific details about where (and to whom) the transcript is to be mailed. Requests for transcripts are typically fulfilled 2-3 weeks after payment has been received. If you send a personal check in lieu of a pre-paid money order or a certified bank check, it will be returned to you; this will delay your receipt of the transcript. PLEASE PLAN AHEAD.

 

Healing Touch Institute volunteers cannot fill out paperwork and forms related to licensing, insurance or other business. If a licensing board or other organization requires information in addition to your transcript, they may view the Healing Touch program information on the website at: www.healingtouchinstitute.com.

Please do not contact the former Director, Instructors or former Staff or Board Members at their homes, business or cell phones unless they specifically give you their contact information and request that you contact them.  If you believe you have a reason to contact someone who once worked at Healing Touch Institute, please leave a message via e-mail. If the individual can be located, the message will be forwarded—it will be at the discretion of that individual to contact you.
